Dear Members,
Greetings from MASI.
We have received an official communication from ASI Headquarters regarding the need for all State
Chapters to align their constitutions with the Draft Model Constitution prepared by ASI. This step is
aimed at bringing uniformity across chapters while allowing retention of administrative and election
structures essential for smooth state-level functioning.
Key points from ASI’s instructions:
1. Review and revise our constitution in line with the attached Draft Model Constitution.
2. Maintain MASI’s existing administrative and election framework where necessary.
3. Submit the revised constitution to ASI Headquarters on or before 15th August 2025 for
approval by the ASI Executive Committee.
A zoom meeting was held by the Order of The President MASI to discuss this Single agenda at the
earliest so we can meet the 15th August 2025 deadline on 31st July 2025.
During the EC MASI Zoom Meeting held on 31st July 2025, the following decision was taken:
• The MASI constitution will be updated and aligned with ASI’s Draft Model Constitution while
ensuring our established processes remain intact.
• A small working group has was formed to prepare the revised draft under the chairmanship
of Dr Rajendra Ganeriwal.
We request all members to go through the ASI Draft Model Constitution and the MASI draft
(attached)
The draft will be put in the GBM of upcoming Masicon at Gondia for approval and will come in force
only after the approval.
